1. Accepted Payment Methods DEMOC accepts two secure payment methods at checkout, for every order placed on democofficial.com:
- Credit / Debit Cards: Visa and Mastercard, processed through Safepay Checkout.
- Raast Instant Bank Payment: pay directly from your Pakistani bank account using your Raast ID (mobile number) or IBAN, and approve the request in your banking app. No extra fee is charged for paying by Raast.
Raast is a Pakistani bank payment, so it is offered for orders in PKR; international orders in US dollars are paid by Visa or Mastercard through Safepay. Cash on Delivery, JazzCash, Easypaisa and manual bank transfers are not currently offered. If this changes, this page and the checkout will be updated together.
2. Payment Security & Encryption
- All payments are processed over an SSL-encrypted connection by Safepay, a State Bank–compliant payment provider.
- DEMOC never captures, stores or views your full card number or CVV on its servers.
- An order is marked as paid only after the payment provider confirms the payment.
3. Currency & Pricing
- Orders placed from Pakistan are charged in Pakistani Rupees (PKR). Orders placed from outside Pakistan are priced and charged in US dollars (USD), converted from our international price at the day’s exchange rate and rounded to whole dollars; the dollar amount shown at checkout is the amount charged.
- Shipping charges, where they apply, are shown at checkout before you pay.
4. Bespoke Atelier & Collector’s Edit Orders
- Configured pairs are priced live as you choose each option, and the price is confirmed by our server before payment.
- Bespoke commissions that include an uploaded design, a detailed recreation or a “recreate my design” request are paid as a 50% design deposit at checkout. The balance is requested through a secure payment link (card or Raast) after you approve your design proof.
- If the atelier cannot make a design, the deposit is refunded in full to the original payment method.
